121/135 Air Carrier Hazmat Status

Per Federal Regulations (CFR 121.1001 and CFR 145.206), we are to be advised by AMES Customers whether or not they are a "Carry/Will Not Carry" hazardous material carrier.

NOTE:  AMES Employees cannot perform or directly supervise a job function regarding the

            handling of hazardous materials, on behalf of any Customer, including the loading of

            items for transport, unless they have received training in accordance with the

            Customers FAA approved hazardous material training program.

• AMES Maintenance or Quality Department personnel will not load any hazmat onto an aircraft under no condition.  All items will be sent directly to AMES Stores.

• AMES Stores personnel will arrange for safe packaging and transport of any hazmat.
